To be honest, I could not be any more happy that Jeret and Hannah were the couple I had the opportunity to shoot my first ever rainy day engagement session. If it was not for their carefree spirits and outgoing personalities, this session would have either been rescheduled or moved into a craft or grocery store (which would have fine & I would all for it, but I am glad that the latter worked out).

Our goal is to capture the love of couples near and far. That being said, we drove a total of 9-hours for this San Luis Obispo engagement shoot that could not be rescheduled no matter what the weather could have been. The future bride and I were both disappointed and nervous about the rain, but we decided to give it a shot and hope for the best. BEST DECISION EVER!

When I met Stephanie, it was on a trip to the Dominican Republic for a conference with a nonprofit organization called A Jesus Mission. Stephanie and I sat in a van together discussing the wedding details having not known anything about her prior to that day. She was very sweet and easy to talk to. To be honest, I tried keeping up with the fast-paced conversation but eventually kept silent because I was not able to come up with a well thought out response in the quickness she was able to talk. Definitely a characteristic that stood out and apparently not just to me, but her now-husband as well.

10 solid years. A relationship for that long is very rare in today’s world. It was lovely to see the interaction between Daryl and Jessica during our golden hour shoot in Turlock, CA. Shooting at Stan State University, the trees are fading in color and constantly losing their beautiful fall leaves. Thankfully there are some spots here and there of reds, greens, and yellows.

The moment I met Angela, we only previously talked over the phone, I was nervous. That day was the day that we would finalize the timeline and make sure everything is going to be captured. There’s nothing more nerve racking than not being on the same page and expectations be out of proportion. Having the timeline set WAY before the wedding (1-2 months prior) and then meeting for making the final changes makes everything way smoother and less stress towards the final weeks or days toward your wedding.
