It’s been over a year since the teaser release of Kaitlyn & Scott’s Geyserville wedding at Sbragia Family Vineyards. As a wedding videographer, watching the behind-the-scenes of the day is an honor. To be entrusted by the bride and groom, to be a part of their special day, AND to retell their wedding day story is priceless. After all the wedding day festivities, it is photo and video memories that the bride and groom will have left.
Bay Area to Geyserville Wedding
Like Tyler & Rebecka’s Geyserville wedding, one of the things I’ve noticed for this Geyserville wedding is that family and guests are not local to the area. Although local to California, this destination wedding brought family and friends together for a relaxing weekend together in light of the wedding celebration.
Due to the distance and time commitment, destination weddings tend to have a smaller guest list. For Kaitlyn and Scott, their wedding guest count was less than 150 people. This number may sound a lot. But if you have ever planned a wedding or know anything about planning a party in general, you know that keeping the guest list a small number is a challenge.
Hearing Yourself Will Make You Cry
Are you like me and do not like the sound of your own voice? Or maybe you think that you will be so stressed and nervous on the wedding day that you will mess up on your wedding vows or letter reading? Let me tell you this now. Months and years after your wedding day are over. You will watch your wedding day film and cry from hearing your own voice. Whatever trails or mountain tops experience you both have gone through. Looking back brings a deeper meaning and perspective when hearing your wedding vows and commitment.
Karissa Wright Productions has always been a BIG believer in personalized wedding vows or letter exchanges. We want more than just pretty music playing in the background of our couples’ wedding films. Twenty to fifty years from now, we want your wedding day love story to be a legacy that impacts your future kids’ view on marriage. And impact their future marriage by looking back to yours. To feel your love and joy everyone had on the wedding day passed down to future generations.
Going Away Allows the Opportunity to be Present in the Moment
Scott and Kaitlyn did a fantastic job assembling a team of Geyserville wedding vendors to be a part of their wedding day. Trusting your wedding vendors allows you to have a peace of mind knowing that everything will happen as it should be.
The notable vendor is Milestone Events Group. This wedding was the first time I had the pleasure of working with the awesome ladies of this Geyserville wedding coordinators and planners group. Even before the wedding, Briana and her team laid out the details of the wedding day in a detailed yet straightforward timeline for everyone. This team’s communication and organization was the key to the success of this winery wedding.
